The Casper Castle

The three-day shoot for this project was a modern day Noah’s Ark: puppies, kittens, turtles, piglets, ducks, goats, alpacas –– every cute animal on the East Coast with a reputable talent agent was there.

To take advantage of the cuteness at our disposal, I constructed a castle made entirely of recycled Casper mattress boxes, complete with parapets, tunnels, custom flags, and a drawbridge.

In between filming the primary scenes with the animals, my DP and I captured them playing in the castle, resulting in a handful of additional videos for Instagram and Snapchat (this was 2019).

Casper was so thrilled with the additional scenes that they asked us to cut some of the footage together for a TVC to promote an upcoming dog bed sale.
